#YouImpact, “Impactful storytelling and digital marketing against disinformation” was an initiative that helped citizen organsations – members of the European Citizen Action Service (ECAS) in Bulgaria counter negative narratives about citizen activism and European values by mastering the art of telling compelling visual stories about their work and applying advanced digital marketing skills to reach wider audiences and increase public support and engagement in their work.

Led by experienced media and marketing professionals, citizen organisations developed video content about their work which highlights their contribution to society and helps counter anti-democratic and anti-European disinformation. The content is being distributed in tailored media campaigns across a variety of digital channels with the aim to inform and engage a wide audience in support for the noble causes that citizen organisations champion.

The project was implemented in 2023 by a consortium consisting of ECAS members in Bulgaria: ProInfo Foundation, the Citizen Participation Forum (CPF) and the Innovative Community Centres Association (ICCA). Together, CPF and ICCA represent over 140 CSOs.

#YouImpact was funded by ECAS through the EURECA (European Citizenship Accelerator) 2023 project.
